Unfortunately,
I didn't finish this book as it just wasn't for me. I usually really enjoy YA
books, but I don't think I'm the intended audience for this one. I read up
to 12% but I just didn't find it engaging enough to continue. The characters were a little dull and the
writing didn't captivate me or make me want to keep reading. The writing wasn't
bad but given the incredible YA books on offer in the market, I think it has a lot to
live up to. Saying that, I wish the author good luck with "Played",
as having a book published is a huge feat! I hope that it does well with its intended target
audience.
